Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 3–5 minutes.
  2. Spread a generous layer of butter or oil on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Place one slice of bread buttered side down in the air fryer basket and layer with cheese.
  4. Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side facing up.
  5. Cook in the air fryer for 8 minutes, checking halfway for even browning.
  6. Inspect for desired browning and adjust cooking time if needed.
  7. Remove from air fryer and let cool for 1-2 minutes before serving.
