- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Allow approximately 10-15 minutes for preheating.
- Lightly grease a baking dish with cooking spray or butter.
- In a medium bowl, combine goat cheese, honey, lemon juice, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
- Slice pears in half lengthwise and remove the cores, keeping the skins on.
- Fill each pear half with the cheese mixture.
- Sprinkle cranberries evenly over the filled pears.
- Optional: sprinkle chopped nuts over the pears and drizzle with honey.
- Cover the baking dish loosely with aluminum foil and bake for 25 to 30 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake uncovered for an additional 5 to 10 minutes until tops are browned.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
