For the Citrus Basil Butter Sauce

Method
 

Steps
  1. In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, the zest and juice of one orange, and a pinch of salt. Add the bhetki fish fillets and let marinate for about 10 minutes.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add olive oil. Place the marinated bhetki fish fillets in the pan. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and flaky.
  3. In the same pan, reduce heat to low, add butter to melt. Stir in minced garlic, sauté for 1 minute. Pour in juice from remaining oranges with honey, salt, and pepper. Whisk until sauce thickens for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Turn off heat, stir in basil leaves into the sauce. Return the cooked bhetki fish to the pan, spoon sauce over. Let rest for 3-4 minutes.
  5. Plate the bhetki fish and drizzle sauce generously over. Garnish with basil leaves. Serve with sides like a salad or bread.
