Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Butter a 10x14-inch baking dish and layer half of the cubed French bread.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the bread cubes, then top with the remaining bread cubes.
  4. Whisk together milk, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla extract until combined. Pour over the bread layers.
  5. Gently press the bread down to absorb the custard, then sprinkle remaining blueberries on top.
  6. Cover with aluminum foil and refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.
  7. Remove from refrigerator, and preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake covered for 45 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for an additional 30 minutes or until lightly browned on top.
  9. Let cool slightly before slicing and serve warm with maple syrup or whipped cream.
