  • 2 cloves minced garlic Fresh garlic is recommended for best results.
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley Substitute with herbs like thyme or oregano.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional) Omit if using more fresh garlic.

Equipment

  • Mixing Bowl
  • baking dish
  • Saucepan
  • Oven

Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, instant yeast, salt, and sugar. Gradually pour in warm water and melted butter while mixing until a shaggy dough forms.
  2. Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour, until doubled in size.
  3. Punch down the dough gently and divide it into 12 equal portions. Shape each piece into a ball, flatten slightly, and place mozzarella cheese in the center. Fold and pinch to seal.
  4. Cover with a kitchen cloth and let them rise for another 30 minutes in a warm location.
  5. In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add minced garlic, chopped parsley, and optional garlic powder. Stir and remove from heat once melted.
  6. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake the rolls for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown on top.
  7. Remove from the oven and brush generously with the garlic butter mixture. Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
