Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss diced butternut squash with olive oil, salt, and black pepper and roast for 25-30 minutes.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté thinly sliced onions for 20 minutes until caramelized.
- Roll out puff pastry and fit into a tart pan, pricking the bottom with a fork.
- Spread caramelized onions over the pastry, layer roasted butternut squash and crumbled goat cheese, drizzle with cream and sprinkle thyme.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until the pastry is golden brown.
- Allow the tart to cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
