Ingredients
  

  • 2 large flatbreads store-bought or homemade
  • 4 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 tablespoon whole grain mustard
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon mixed Italian spices
  • 4 ounces sliced chorizo
  • 4 ounces sliced turkey breast
  • 4 ounces sliced gouda cheese
  • 4 ounces crumbled feta cheese
  • 1 cup assorted olives green and kalamata
  • 1 cup halved grape tomatoes
  • Fresh basil or spinach for garnish
  • Extra virgin olive oil for drizzling
  • Sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, whole grain mustard, maple syrup, onion powder, and mixed Italian spices, stirring until creamy and well blended.
  3. Spread the cream cheese blend generously over each flatbread.
  4. Arrange the sliced chorizo, turkey breast, gouda, and crumbled feta on top of the cream cheese layer.
  5. Distribute the assorted olives and halved grape tomatoes across the flatbreads.
  6. Drizzle extra virgin olive oil over the toppings and season with sea salt and freshly cracked black pepper.
  7. Bake in the oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the cheeses are gooey and the edges are crisp and golden.
  8. Allow to cool slightly, garnish with fresh basil or spinach, slice into pieces, and serve warm.
