Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper, greasing it lightly.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, chopped onion, and minced garlic. Cook for about 7–10 minutes until the beef is browned and onions are translucent.
  3. On a floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to about ¼-inch thickness and cut it into 16 equal squares.
  4. Place a scoop of the beef mixture in the center of each dough square and add a square of cheddar cheese. Fold corners over and seal tightly.
  5. Bring 4 cups of water to a boil and stir in the baking soda. Gently place each bomb in the water for 30 seconds, then place on the baking sheet seam-side down.
  6. Brush the tops of the bombs with beaten egg and sprinkle sesame seeds if desired.
  7. Bake for about 15–20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving with ketchup or mustard.
