  • 1 cup Cherries fresh and chopped; thaw and drain if frozen

  2. Combine melted butter and brown sugar in a medium bowl until smooth, about 2 minutes.
  3. Add egg and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth and glossy, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Gently stir in flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined, about 30 seconds.
  5. Fold in dark chocolate chips and chopped cherries until evenly distributed, about 30 seconds.
  6. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
