Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker, pour in 2 ounces of vodka, 1 ounce of Triple Sec (or tonic water for the mocktail), and 1 ounce of fresh lemon juice. Add a generous handful of fresh blueberries and, if using, a few cucumber slices. To sweeten, stir in 1 ounce of simple syrup.
- Fill the cocktail shaker with fresh ice, packing it up to the top. Secure the lid tightly and use a muddler to gently press down on the blueberries and cucumber slices for about 15 seconds.
- Shake the cocktail vigorously for about 30 seconds, until you feel the shaker getting icy cold.
- Remove the cap of the shaker and position a strainer over the opening. Carefully pour the vibrant mixture into two chilled martini glasses.
- Garnish each glass with a couple of fresh blueberries, a slice of cucumber, and a thin lemon slice on the rim.
- Serve immediately and enjoy responsibly.
