Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Brown the meat in a skillet over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until fully cooked and browned.
  2. Sauté the finely chopped onion and minced garlic in the same skillet for 2-3 minutes until translucent.
  3. Transfer cooked meat, sautéed aromatics, drained beans, diced tomatoes, and tomato sauce into the crockpot. Add spices and stir thoroughly.
  4. Fold in chopped bell pepper and corn if desired.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
