  • 1 whole cantaloupe Choose a ripe, sweet cantaloupe for the best flavor.
  • 3 tablespoons lime juice Freshly squeezed is ideal.
  • 2 tablespoons sugar Optional, can substitute with agave nectar.
  • 4 cups water Adjust based on desired consistency.
For Garnish (Optional)
  • 1 sprig mint Fresh mint adds a fragrant touch.

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash the cantaloupe, cut it in half, scoop out the seeds, and slice the flesh into chunks.
  2. Juice the limes using a citrus juicer and measure the juice.
  3. In a blender, combine the cantaloupe chunks, lime juice, and water. Add sugar or agave nectar if desired.
  4. Blend on high for 30-45 seconds until smooth and creamy.
  5. Taste and adjust sweetness and consistency if necessary by adding more water or sugar and blend again.
  6. Pour into a pitcher and refrigerate for about 30 minutes to chill.
  7. Serve over ice, garnished with lime slices and fresh mint.
