If desired, fold in the chopped walnuts or pecans for added crunch and flavor.
Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or maple syrup.
Spoon the pudding into individual serving bowls or a large serving dish.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld and the pudding to chill.
Before serving, sprinkle mini chocolate chips on top if using.
