Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a loaf pan with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
- Mash 2-3 ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth, leaving small lumps for texture. Set aside.
- In another bowl, whisk together 1/3 cup melted butter, 2 eggs, and 1/4 cup milk until combined. Pour this mixture into the mashed bananas and stir until just combined.
- In a separate bowl, blend together 1 3/4 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1/2 cup granulated sugar, and 1/2 cup brown sugar until well-combined.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet banana mixture using a spatula until just combined.
- Transfer the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top and tapping lightly to release air bubbles.
- Sprinkle a cinnamon and sugar mixture over the top of the batter.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
Use heavily spotted bananas for the best flavor and avoid overmixing the batter.
