Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the breakfast sausage over medium heat until browned (7-10 minutes). Drain excess fat.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese with cooked sausage. Add frozen hash browns and chopped onion.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until fluffy.
  5. Pour the egg mixture into the sausage and hash brown mixture. Stir gently to combine.
  6. Transfer mixture to greased baking dish and sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set and top is golden brown.
  8. While baking, cook bacon until crispy; crumble and set aside.
