Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Bacon Avocado Salad
  1. Gather all the ingredients: 2 ripe Hass avocados, 2 strips of bacon, fresh watercress, minced shallots, pink peppercorns, avocado oil, lemon juice, and salt.
  2. Wash the watercress under cold running water and pat dry. Slice the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
  3. Mince the shallots and smash the pink peppercorns lightly.
  4. Squeeze fresh lemon juice into a small bowl, aiming for about one teaspoon.
  5. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake the bacon strips for about 15 minutes until golden brown.
