Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Pound chicken breasts to a uniform thickness of about 1/4 inch and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Lay Swiss cheese and ham on each chicken breast, then roll up and secure with toothpicks.
  4. Prepare a dredging station with flour, beaten eggs, and panko breadcrumbs. Coat each roll in flour, then egg, then breadcrumbs.
  5. In a skillet, brown the chicken rolls on all sides for about 5 minutes in a mixture of butter and olive oil.
  6. Transfer to a greased baking dish and bake for 20–25 minutes until cooked through.
  7. For the cream sauce, melt butter and whisk in flour, then gradually add milk until thickened. Stir in Parmesan cheese and Dijon mustard.
  8. Serve chicken rolls with a drizzle of cream sauce on top.
