  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, diced
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup cooked bacon crumbled
  • 1 16-ounce package potato gnocchi
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Method
 

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Add the cream cheese and stir until melted and well combined.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon, mixing until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is creamy.
  4. In a separate pot, cook the gnocchi according to package instructions. Drain and add to the skillet with the creamy chicken mixture.
  5. Gently fold in the frozen peas and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley if desired.
