Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking dish or cast-iron skillet.
  2. Melt butter in a small saucepan and brush the mixture onto slices of baguette. Set aside.
  3. Cook sausage meat in a frying pan until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat.
  4. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, Parmesan cheese, and oregano until smooth and creamy.
  5. Spread the creamy mixture in the baking dish, layer with pizza sauce, then with mozzarella, sausage, and mini pepperoni.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 6-8 minutes until bubbly. Remove foil and bake for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  7. Bake prepared baguette slices for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Sprinkle fresh basil and drizzle with hot honey over the dip before serving with crostini.
