Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Combine ingredients in the slow cooker: chicken breasts, chicken broth, diced potatoes, green chiles, diced onion, and cream-style corn. Stir well.
  2. Cover the slow cooker with its lid and set it to low heat. Cook for 4 hours.
  3. After 4 hours, shred the chicken in the pot using two forks, stirring it back into the chowder.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, garlic powder, and crispy bacon pieces. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cover and simmer for 15 to 20 minutes.
