  • 2 cups frozen strawberries
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup almond milk or any milk of choice
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup optional
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup granola
  • 1/4 cup sliced fresh strawberries
  • 1/4 cup sliced banana
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds optional
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. In a blender, combine the frozen strawberries, ripe banana, almond milk, honey or maple syrup (if using), and vanilla extract. Blend until smooth and creamy. If the mixture is too thick, add a little more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
  2. Pour the smoothie into a bowl and use a spoon to create a smooth surface.
  3. Top the smoothie with granola, sliced fresh strawberries, sliced banana, and chia seeds if desired.
  4. Garnish with fresh mint leaves for an extra touch.
