Step-by-Step Instructions

  4. Transfer the blanched cabbage leaves to a bowl of cold water. Drain and pat dry.
  5. Press the dried cabbage leaves into the muffin cups, overlapping smaller leaves if necessary.
  6. Brush the insides of the cabbage cups with olive oil and bake for about 10 minutes.
  7. Cook the chopped beef bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy.
  8. Pour excess bacon grease from the skillet and brown the ground beef for 5 minutes.
  9. Add chopped onion and sauté for 3 minutes, then stir in garlic and remaining seasonings.
  10. Remove the cabbage cups from the oven and fill each cup with the ground beef mixture.
  11. Top with shredded cheddar cheese and bake for another 8-10 minutes until melted.
  12. Mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and pickle juice in a bowl to make sauce.
  13. Top each cup with crispy bacon and a slice of dill pickle, drizzle with sauce, and serve warm.
