  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder

  • 1 teaspoon Pepper Adjust to taste
For Frying
  • 2 cups Oil for Frying Vegetable or canola oils work best

  3. Step 3: Heat the Oil. Heat oil in a pan to 375°F (190°C). Test oil readiness with a bit of batter; it should sizzle and rise.
