Cooking Instructions
- Begin by rinsing your salmon fillets under cold water, then pat them dry with paper towels.
- Take three cloves of fresh garlic and mince them finely using a sharp knife or a garlic press.
- In a medium-sized mixing bowl, combine 1/4 cup of pure honey, 2 tablespoons of low-sodium soy sauce, and the minced garlic. Stir together until evenly blended.
- Transfer the glaze mixture into a small saucepan and place it over medium heat. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes.
- Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Carefully place the salmon fillets skin-side down into the hot skillet. Cook undisturbed for 4 minutes, then gently flip and brush half the glaze on top.
- Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Gently drizzle any remaining glaze over the salmon fillets while still in the skillet.
- Transfer the cooked salmon onto plates and garnish with chopped green onions.
