  • 1 teaspoon Sweet Paprika or alternatives like Old Bay seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Zest
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice bottled if fresh isn't available

  • to taste Pepper
  • as needed Cooking Spray/Oil olive oil or any cooking oil

Step-by-Step Instructions for Crispy Salmon Patties with Fresh Herbs
  1. In a medium bowl, combine finely diced fresh salmon with panko breadcrumbs, chopped green onions, minced garlic, fresh basil, dried dill, a beaten egg, sweet paprika, lemon zest, and juice, along with salt and pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated, ensuring a cohesive texture.
  2. Divide the salmon mixture into six equal portions. Shape each portion into a 3/4-inch thick patty.
  3. Preheat a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and lightly coat with cooking spray or olive oil.
  4. Carefully place the patties in the hot skillet and cook for approximately 5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes.
  5. Once cooked, remove the salmon patties from the skillet and let them cool slightly on a paper towel-lined plate. Serve hot, optionally garnished with tartar or dill sauce, lemon wedges, and fresh herbs.
