  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice omit if using very sweet fruit
  • 1 tsp Lemon Zest omit if using very sweet fruit
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 cup Milk any type including non-dairy
For Serving
  • powdered sugar Powdered Sugar for dusting

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the large croissants into bite-sized pieces and place in a greased 9-inch square pan.
  3. Evenly distribute fresh or frozen blueberries over the croissant pieces.
  4. In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth and creamy.
  5. Add eggs, lemon juice, lemon zest, and vanilla to the mixture and gradually mix in the milk until fully combined.
  6. Pour the custard mixture evenly over the croissant pieces and blueberries.
  7. Allow to soak for about 20 minutes at room temperature.
  8. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes until golden brown and center is set.
  9. Remove from oven, cool slightly, and serve warm with powdered sugar.
