  • 2 tablespoons Coconut aminos gluten-free alternative
  • 2 cloves Minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger grated or minced
  • 1 tablespoon Arrowroot powder or tapioca flour
  • 2 tablespoons Water to mix with arrowroot
For Serving
  • 2 cups Jasmine rice cooked
  • 1 cup Edamame optional
  • 1 medium Cucumber finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro for garnish
  • 2 stalks Green onion for garnish

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Honey Orange Shrimp
  1. Ensure the shrimp are fully defrosted, rinse under cold water, and pat dry. Season lightly with sea salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a non-stick pan over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Sauté the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque. Remove and keep warm.
  3. In a bowl, combine the orange juice, honey, coconut aminos, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Whisk until smooth.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture into the pan. Heat gently while stirring for 2-3 minutes. Mix arrowroot powder with water in a small bowl until smooth, then add to the sauce and stir until thickened.
  5. Return the shrimp to the pan with the sauce and gently toss to coat, heating for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  6. Serve over jasmine rice, topped with edamame, cucumber, cilantro, and green onion.
