Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan with butter or cooking spray.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then add melted butter and mix until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing gently until smooth.
  6. Pour the batter into the greased pan, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Prepare the frosting by mixing powdered sugar, melted butter, and milk until smooth.
  9. Mix chopped nuts with melted butter and sugar for the praline topping.
  10. Spread frosting over cooled bars and sprinkle with praline topping.
  11. Allow to set for 15 minutes, slice, and serve at room temperature.
