Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine your choice of ground protein with finely chopped vegetables, minced garlic, and ginger. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar, mixing thoroughly until well incorporated.
  2. Fill a shallow dish with warm water (about 100°F / 38°C) and dip each rice paper wrapper for 10-15 seconds until pliable. Lay flat on a damp surface.
  3. Place a spoonful of filling near the edge of each wrapper, fold the sides over, and tightly roll it away from you to form a sealed dumpling.
  4. You can steam, pan-fry, or boil your dumplings. For steaming, arrange in a steamer basket and steam for 5-7 minutes. For pan-frying, cook in a skillet for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Serve the dumplings with your favorite dipping sauce, garnished with fresh herbs and sesame seeds.
