  • 2 teaspoons Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Pepper
For the Cheese Filling
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • 1 cup Spinach optional, can substitute with kale
For the Topping
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce

Method
 

Step‑By‑Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix together mozzarella and Parmesan cheese with spinach if desired.
  4. Spread the meat mixture into a rectangle on parchment paper. Layer the cheese filling in the center and roll the meat mixture tightly around it.
  5. Place the rolled meatloaf seam-side down on a greased baking sheet. Bake for 45-50 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  6. About 10 minutes before finishing, spoon marinara sauce over the top and let it bake until warmed and bubbly.
  7. Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes. Slice and serve with extra marinara sauce.
