Step-by-Step Instructions
- Begin by greasing a large plate to prevent sticking. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the sweetened condensed milk and cocoa powder. Stir continuously as you add in the salted butter for about 7-8 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Carefully transfer the fudge mixture to the greased plate and spread it out evenly. Allow it to cool at room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
- Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly. Once the fudge has cooled, wet your hands with a bit of water, scoop a portion of fudge, and mold it around each strawberry.
- Roll the fudge-coated strawberries in grated chocolate or sprinkles. To create tails, shape a small piece of fudge and attach it to the back of each covered strawberry. Use roasted peanuts for ears.
- Chill the decorated fudge mice in the refrigerator for at least 15-20 minutes to help everything set firmly.

Notes
Avoid sticky fudge by wetting your hands or coating them with butter. Choose medium-sized, firm strawberries for the best results.
