For the Green Buttercream Frosting
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter Creamy base for frosting.
  • 4 cups Powdered Sugar Sweetens and thickens.
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract Enhances flavor.
  • 1 pinch Salt Balances sweetness.
  • 1-2 tbsp Milk Adjusts consistency.
  • 1 tbsp Green Food Coloring For color.
For Decorations
  • 1/4 cup Round Green Sprinkles For decoration.
  • 1/4 cup Halloween Sprinkles For decoration.
  • 1/4 cup Candy Eyeballs For decoration.
  • 10 pieces Pretzel Sticks For decoration.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease mini muffin pans.
  2. Combine Devil's Food Cake Mix, eggs, and canola oil in a bowl. Add black food coloring if desired and stir until combined.
  3. Scoop dough into muffin pans, filling two-thirds full and flattening tops.
  4. Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges set and a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  5. Cool in pans for 5 minutes, then transfer to racks to cool completely.
  6. Beat unsalted butter until creamy, then gradually add powdered sugar, vanilla, salt, and milk until smooth. Mix in green food coloring.
  7. Pipe buttercream into the center of each cookie cup to resemble a potion.
  8. Decorate with sprinkles, pretzel sticks, and candy eyeballs.
  9. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.
