- Preheat the oven to 180ºC (or 160ºC for a fan oven) and prepare a muffin tray with 12 baking cups.
- Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add dry ingredients and eggs to the bowl, mixing until fully combined.
- Divide the batter among the cupcake cases, filling each two-thirds full. Bake for 20-22 minutes.
- Cool cupcakes in the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- For frosting, beat butter until soft, then gradually add icing sugar and cocoa, mixing well.
- Pipe the frosting onto the cooled cupcakes using a piping bag.
- Decorate with pretzels for antlers, red M&Ms for the nose, and edible eyes.
