Step-by-Step Instructions for Fresh Blueberry Brownies
  1. Blend 1½ cups of fresh or thawed blueberries until smooth. Pour into a saucepan and simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes until reduced to approximately ½ cup. Allow to cool.
  2. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and line an 8x8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  3. Combine ½ cup of melted unsalted butter with 1 cup of granulated sugar. Stir until well blended, then add 2 large eggs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt.
  4. Gently fold the cooled blueberry reduction into the wet mixture until fully combined.
  5. Sift ¾ cup of flour into the wet batter and stir gently until just combined.
