Equipment

Method

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (121°C). Gather your deep roasting pans to prepare for mixing the snack components.
  2. In your two deep roasting pans, evenly distribute the Corn Chex, Honey/Wheat Chex, Bugles, Fritos, and pretzels.
  3. In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add granulated sugar, vegetable oil, light corn syrup, and soy sauce, stirring continuously for about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Carefully pour the syrup over your cereal and snack mixture in the pans and gently toss the ingredients to ensure every piece is evenly coated.
  5. Sprinkle the furikake seasoning over the coated mix and gently stir to combine all the flavors well.
  6. Transfer the pans to your preheated oven and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes for uniform toasting.
  7. Once golden and crunchy, remove from the oven and let it cool completely in the pans.
