Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 250°F (121°C). Gather your deep roasting pans to prepare for mixing the snack components.
- In your two deep roasting pans, evenly distribute the Corn Chex, Honey/Wheat Chex, Bugles, Fritos, and pretzels.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat. Add granulated sugar, vegetable oil, light corn syrup, and soy sauce, stirring continuously for about 3-4 minutes.
- Carefully pour the syrup over your cereal and snack mixture in the pans and gently toss the ingredients to ensure every piece is evenly coated.
- Sprinkle the furikake seasoning over the coated mix and gently stir to combine all the flavors well.
- Transfer the pans to your preheated oven and bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes for uniform toasting.
- Once golden and crunchy, remove from the oven and let it cool completely in the pans.
