- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine white chocolate and vegetable shortening. Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds, then stir. Repeat until melted and smooth.
- Dip the bottom of a marshmallow into melted chocolate, coat well, and place upright on parchment paper.
- Dip the bottoms of two additional marshmallows in chocolate and stack them on top of the first marshmallow, using chocolate as glue.
- Coat the entire marshmallow stack with remaining melted chocolate, ensuring all visible marshmallows are covered.
- While the coating is wet, attach the candy eyes to the top marshmallow.
- Allow the chocolate to harden at room temperature for about 15-20 minutes, then dust with powdered sugar.
- Use the black edible marker to add fun facial features to the marshmallows.
