  1. Preheat the grill to medium heat, around 375°F (190°C). Oil the grill grates.
  2. Slice the watermelon into even cubes or wedges, about 1-2 inches in size.
  3. Cut halloumi cheese into thick slices, about 1/2 inch thick.
  4. Assemble skewers by alternating watermelon and halloumi pieces.
  5. Grill the assembled kebabs for 3-4 minutes on each side until grill marks appear.
  6. Remove from grill, sprinkle with basil salt, and serve.
