- In a large skillet over medium heat, add equal parts ground beef and ground hot sausage. Cook for about 8-10 minutes until browned and fully cooked.
- While the meat is cooking, take your Velveeta cheese and slice it into small cubes.
- Carefully drain any excess grease from the skillet.
- Add the cubed Velveeta cheese to the skillet with the cooked meat and stir over medium-low heat until melted.
- Mix in Worcestershire sauce, oregano, garlic salt, and a pinch of salt. Cook for another 1-2 minutes.
- Preheat your broiler to high and line a baking sheet with slices of party rye bread.
- Using a tablespoon, scoop about 2 tablespoons of the beef and cheese mixture onto each slice of rye bread.
- Broil for 2-3 minutes until the tops are hot, bubbly, and golden brown.
- Sprinkle chopped parsley over the top before serving.
