Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C) and grease a 9x13-inch casserole dish.
  2. Steam the frozen mixed vegetables with garlic powder, thyme, and nutmeg for 3-4 minutes.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan, add flour to create a roux, then gradually whisk in milk and white wine until thickened.
  4. Fold in grated Parmesan and shredded cheese to the sauce, adjusting seasoning as needed.
  5. Combine the creamy sauce with the steamed vegetables and transfer to the casserole dish.
  6. Mix breadcrumbs with olive oil and sprinkle on top of the vegetable mixture.
  7. Cover and bake for 15 minutes, then uncover and bake for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
