Step-by-Step Instructions for Hibiscus Lemonade
  1. In a heat-safe bowl, combine ½ cup of dried hibiscus flowers with 1 cup of boiling water. Stir in ¾ cup of your chosen sweetener, until fully dissolved.
  2. While the hibiscus tea is steeping, squeeze fresh lemons to yield 1 cup of juice and set it aside.
  3. Once the hibiscus tea has steeped, pour ¾ cup of the sweetened hibiscus tea into a large pitcher, add the lemon juice, and 3 cups of cold water. Stir well.
  4. Serve over ice or store in the refrigerator. Garnish with lemon slices or mint sprigs before serving.
