Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Wash 3-4 ripe peaches, cut in half, remove pit, chop into small pieces.
  2. Mix chopped peaches with lemon juice, sugar, and fruit pectin in a large pot.
  3. Bring the mixture to a vigorous boil over medium-high heat.
  4. Continue cooking for 10-15 minutes until thickened, stirring frequently.
  5. Ladle jam into clean jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace; seal tightly.
  6. Process jars in boiling water bath for 10 minutes for preservation.
  7. Cool completely on a towel or cooling rack.
