Preparation
- Grease a 9"x13" baking tray with butter or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Melt ½ cup of butter over low heat, stirring occasionally for about 2-3 minutes until fully melted.
- Add ½ cup of milk chocolate chips and stir continuously over low heat for another 1-2 minutes until completely melted.
- Mix in ½ cup of hot chocolate powder, stirring vigorously for about 1 minute until fully incorporated.
- Add 4 cups of mini marshmallows and stir continuously over low heat for approximately 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the pot from heat and gently fold in 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal using a spatula.
- Gently fold in ⅓ cup of mini marshmallows.
- Transfer the mixture into the prepared baking tray and evenly spread it across the pan.
- Sprinkle your chosen toppings on top and press them gently into the mixture.
- Allow the treats to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before slicing.
