Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cut the salmon into four equal fillets, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and dredge in flour.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear salmon for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds, then add chicken broth or wine, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low, stir in heavy cream, and return seared salmon to skillet, simmering for 5 minutes.
  5. Taste the sauce, adjust seasonings, and sprinkle with chopped parsley. Serve immediately with desired sides.
