Cooking Steps
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a large skillet over medium heat, add 4 cloves of minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
- Add 1 pound of medium shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes until shrimp are pink and opaque. Remove from heat.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of heavy cream, 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, and 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese. Stir in the sautéed shrimp and garlic.
- Grease a 9x9-inch baking dish. Spread the shrimp mixture evenly across the bottom.
- In a small bowl, combine 1 cup of panko breadcrumbs with 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese. Sprinkle over the shrimp layer.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and bubbling. Broil for an additional 2-3 minutes if desired.
- Garnish with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot.
