  2. Sear seasoned chicken thighs skin-side down in a hot skillet for 3-5 minutes until golden-brown.
  3. Transfer browned thighs to a plate, discard excess drippings, and return chicken skin-side up to the skillet.
  4. In a bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, white vinegar, ginger, and garlic until smooth.
  5. Pour the glaze over the chicken and roast in the oven for 25-30 minutes, basting every 10 minutes.
  6. Check for doneness; chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) with juices running clear.
  7. Remove the skillet, allow the chicken to rest for 5 minutes, and serve warm with remaining sauce.
