Cupcake Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your cupcake tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, cardamom, and nutmeg. Whisk until well mixed.
- In another bowl, cream together unsalted butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
- Alternately add the dry mixture and milk into the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Fill cupcake liners ⅔ full and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow cupcakes to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Prepare frosting by melting butter, chocolate chips, Nutella, and heavy cream together until smooth. Chill.
- Whip chilled frosting until fluffy and frost cooled cupcakes.
