Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, egg, and any optional grated vegetables. Mix until just combined.
  3. Transfer the meat mixture to a flat surface and shape it into a loaf, about 8 to 10 inches long and 4 inches wide.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together sugar, hot sauce, and minced garlic to create the glaze. Set aside half for later.
  5. Spread half of the glaze over the meatloaf.
  6. Bake the meatloaf for 45-50 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  7. 15 minutes before it’s done, brush the remaining glaze over the top.
  8. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
