- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, egg, and any optional grated vegetables. Mix until just combined.
- Transfer the meat mixture to a flat surface and shape it into a loaf, about 8 to 10 inches long and 4 inches wide.
- In a small bowl, whisk together sugar, hot sauce, and minced garlic to create the glaze. Set aside half for later.
- Spread half of the glaze over the meatloaf.
- Bake the meatloaf for 45-50 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- 15 minutes before it’s done, brush the remaining glaze over the top.
- Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
