For the Meatloaf
  • 1 lb Ground Beef or turkey or pork
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs panko or crushed saltines
  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce increase for more umami
  • 1 large Egg fresh
  • 1 cup Additional Veggies (optional) grated carrots or zucchini
For the Sweet Spicy Glaze
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Hot Sauce like Tabasco or sriracha
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced

Method
 

Basic Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, Worcestershire sauce, egg, and optional grated vegetables.
  3. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf, around 8 to 10 inches long and 4 inches wide.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together sugar, hot sauce, and minced garlic to create the glaze.
  5. Spread half of the glaze over the meatloaf and bake for 45-50 minutes.
  6. Brush the remaining glaze over the meatloaf 15 minutes before it's done.
  7. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
