  • 1/2 cup Sweetener (optional) Sugar or maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup Vegetable Oil Or melted coconut oil

  • 1 tablespoon Powdered Sugar For dusting
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Nuts For sprinkling

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine gluten-free flour, ground fennel, and warm spices.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix chopped walnuts, preferred sweetener, and vegetable oil.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture into the wet mixture and mix until a soft dough forms.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized portions onto the baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
  6. Flatten each dough ball to about half an inch thickness.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown around the edges.
  8. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
