  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream

  • 3 large Eggs Add slowly.

  • 1 cup Caramel Sauce Homemade or store-bought.
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Salted Peanuts Roasted will elevate flavor.
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Combine crushed dark chocolate cookies with melted butter, sugar, and salt. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased springform pan. Bake for 10 minutes.
  3. Soften cream cheese, then beat in sugar until creamy. Add sour cream, vanilla, and eggs one at a time, mixing gently.
  4. Wrap the pan with aluminum foil and place it in a baking dish filled with hot water. Bake for 60 minutes.
  5. Let the cheesecake cool in the oven with the door cracked open for 30 minutes.
  6. Transfer to the refrigerator for at least 6 hours.
  7. Drizzle caramel over the cheesecake and sprinkle with peanuts and chocolate chips.
  8. Warm a knife under hot water before slicing and serve.
