For the Honey Swirl
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons milk

Method
 

Cake Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ground cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger.
  3. In another bowl, blend granulated sugar, brown sugar, vegetable oil, eggs, pumpkin puree, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the bowl of dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the powdered sugar, honey, ground cinnamon, and milk until smooth.
  6. Pour half of the pumpkin batter into the prepared baking pan, drizzle half of the honey swirl mixture, then repeat with the remaining batter and swirl.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, testing for doneness with a toothpick.
  8. Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
